Nelson Copy Supply Company of Hanover,
Massachusetts, is pleased to announce that they have been chosen
by Xerox Corporation to partner with them in the newly awarded
Statewide Contract for copiers and supplies. This is a five-year
Commonwealth Statewide contract effective on July 1, 1998.
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts through
its Affirmative Market Program encourages partnerships between
large companies and small minority-and women-owned businesses.
Nelson Copy Supply will be the sole authorized agent for selling
and delivering Xerox brand consumable supplies to municipal and
approved non-profit organizations in Southeastem Massachusetts.
This Commonwealth of Massachusetts'
pilot program is one of the first in the country undertaken by
the state and Xerox to help promote the growth of small regional
businesses. Xerox is hoping that these regional affiliates will
provide quicker service and more personalized support to their
end-users.
Nelson Copy Supply owner, Marguerite
Sarson, is excited to be partnering with a company of Xerox's
stature and plans to hire several new employees to handle the
anticipated increased business.
